TRAVEL CARIBBEAN

Discover the wonders of the Caribbean

At Guide Me Away, we design Caribbean journeys with care, intention, and trusted partners across the islands.

YOUR CARIBBEAN, THOUGHTFULLY PLANNED

More than a beach holiday.
An island journey designed around you.

The Caribbean offers far more than beautiful beaches. Each island has its own atmosphere, landscapes, culture, cuisine, and style of travel, and choosing the right destination can make all the difference.

At Guide Me Away, we take the time to understand what you want from your escape. Whether that means a quiet adults-only resort, an activity-filled family holiday, a romantic island hideaway, or a journey across several destinations, we carefully coordinate your accommodation, flights, transfers, and experiences.

The result is a Caribbean holiday that feels effortless, personal, and entirely your own.

Personal from the start

Your journey begins with a conversation, not a pre-designed package.

Carefully considered

Every destination, hotel, experience, and connection is selected with purpose.

Supported throughout

You have someone to rely on before, during, and after your travels.

WAYS TO DISCOVER THE CARIBBEAN

Here's a few for inspiration

Sail through paradise

Discover the Caribbean from the water, travelling between sun-soaked islands without having to unpack at every stop.

From luxury cruises and intimate ships to private yacht charters and sailing journeys, we will help you choose the route and travel style that suit you best. Explore colourful ports, quiet coves, coral reefs, and vibrant island communities while enjoying a seamless journey from one destination to the next.

Find your family’s perfect escape

Make your Caribbean family holiday feel genuinely relaxing with a resort selected around the needs of your entire family.

We can recommend all-inclusive resorts with spacious accommodation, supervised kids’ clubs, waterparks, calm beaches, family dining, and activities for every age group. We also consider the details that make travelling with children easier, from suitable flight times and private transfers to adjoining rooms and age-appropriate excursions.

Celebrate love in the Caribbean

The Caribbean creates an unforgettable setting for honeymoons, anniversaries, and romantic escapes.

Stay at an intimate adults-only resort, retreat to a private villa, enjoy a candlelit dinner beside the sea, or explore several islands together. Whether you are drawn to the dramatic beauty of Saint Lucia, the quiet beaches of the Bahamas, or the laid-back elegance of the British Virgin Islands, we will design a journey that feels personal to you.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Ask us anything. Really.

When is the best time to visit the Caribbean?

The most popular time to visit is generally between December and April, when many islands experience warm temperatures, lower humidity, and less rainfall.

May, June, and late November can also be excellent options for travellers looking for fewer crowds or better value. The best period will depend on the island, your preferred activities, and the type of holiday you are planning.

The Atlantic hurricane season officially runs from June through November, although weather conditions and levels of risk differ across the Caribbean.

Travelling during this period can still be enjoyable, but flexible arrangements and suitable travel insurance are especially important. We can recommend destinations, accommodation, and booking options that make sense for your travel dates.

That depends on the experience you want.

Some islands are ideal for family-friendly all-inclusive resorts, while others are better suited to diving, sailing, nightlife, food, nature, or romantic escapes. We will compare the options and recommend the islands that best match your interests, preferred atmosphere, budget, and travel dates.

Entry requirements vary by destination and depend on your passport, length of stay, and travel route.

Some islands are independent countries, while others are British, French, Dutch, or American territories with their own requirements. We will help you identify the relevant entry rules, although travellers remain responsible for ensuring that their documents are valid.

For the best choice of resorts, room categories, and flights, we generally recommend planning six to twelve months ahead.

Booking earlier is especially helpful for Christmas, New Year, spring break, school holidays, honeymoons, weddings, and popular family resorts. Shorter-notice journeys are still possible, and we can help you make the most of the options available.

Yes. Many Caribbean islands offer excellent family resorts, calm beaches, kids’ clubs, waterparks, larger rooms, and activities for children and teenagers.

The key is selecting the right island and resort for the ages, interests, and needs of your family. We consider everything from flight connections and beach conditions to dining options and room layouts.

There is no single currency used throughout the Caribbean.

Depending on the island, you may encounter the US dollar, East Caribbean dollar, euro, or another local currency. Credit cards are widely accepted at many hotels and resorts, although carrying a small amount of local cash can be useful for markets, taxis, and smaller establishments.

Requirements and recommendations depend on the destination, your travel history, and your personal health circumstances.

You should consult a qualified healthcare professional or official travel-health authority well before departure. We can help identify the destinations included in your itinerary so that you can obtain the correct guidance.

Inter-island travel may involve regional flights, ferries, private boats, cruises, or chartered transfers.

Connections are not always as straightforward as they appear on a map, so careful planning is important. We coordinate the route, timings, luggage requirements, and transfers to ensure the journey between islands runs as smoothly as possible.
